Key Personnel Submitting Applications for PI

Key Personnel - Key personnel are individuals, other than the PI, who contribute to the scientific development or execution of research in a substantive, measurable way, whether or not they receive salaries or compensation under the protocol. All key personnel shall receive appropriate training in human research protections. Faculty advisors to undergraduate student investigators are considered key personnel.

If you are submitting an IRB application for a PI, please note that when you've submitted your application via IRB Manager, it will be forwarded to the PI for approval. The PI will then need to approve the application in order for the application to be forwarded to the IRB for review.

Please follow these instructions:

     1.  GO TO IRB MANAGER WEBSITE:

       https://irbmanager.becirb.com/

   

     2.   LOGIN WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

• Username: Email address provided in your IRB application.(Please Note that Baruch email addresses have been updated with a period instead of the underscore)

• Password: first name (lower case)

• Client: BaruchCollege

    3. CHANGING IRB MANAGER PASSWORD

• Changing your IRB Manager password is recommended when you first log into the system.
• Go to the MYSETTINGS ICON on the top right of the webpage, click on CHANGE MY PASSWORD.

    4. SUBMITTING NEW APPLICATIONS

• Click on the HOME icon on the top left of the webpage
• Under ACTIONS choose xforms
• Choose CUNY IRB APPLICATION FORM.
