PI's approval of applications submitted on their behalf
IRB Manager allows key personnel to submit applications on the behalf of PI's. However, it is required that PI's approve these applications before the application will be forwarded to the IRB for review.
Please note that PI's will have to register on IRB Manager first before an application can be submitted on their behalf. If the PI is not a registered user on IRB Manager, please register using these instructions.
After an application is submitted on behalf of a PI, IRB Manager will send an email notification to the PI with a direct link to the application.
If the PI does not receive notification from IRB Manager, please follow these instructions:
1. GO TO IRB MANAGER WEBSITE:
https://irbmanager.becirb.com/
2. LOG IN WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
- Username: Email address provided in your IRB application.(Please Note that Baruch email addresses have been updated with a period instead of the underscore)
- Password: first name (lower case)
- Client: BaruchCollege
- On the top left side of the page choose NOTIFICATIONS VIEW
- All applications that need PI approval should be listed in this area.
- Choose the CUNY IRB FORM.

Please note that the PI must approve the application by typing in his or her IRB Manager password on the last page of the application.
