Office of Human Resources


The Benefits Unit is responsible for the coordination and administration of the core and voluntary employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, vision, dental, prescription, retirement, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Commuter Benefits, and tax-deferred annuities (TDA). In addition, the administration of all medical leaves of absences and workers compensation is managed within this unit. This unit acts as a liaison between the Baruch College campus, the vendors and CUNY's University Benefits Office (UBO). Furthermore, it ensures that all processes are administered in accordance with all applicable state, local and federal laws and regulations, policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements.
