Zolicia R. Abotsi was recently appointed to serve as the Grants Assistant for Post Award Administration in the Office of Sponsored Programs & Research at Baruch College.

Ms. Abotsi, is no stranger to the CUNY community, as she holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from City College and has a strong background in post award research administration at the college.  She has worked on various grants sponsored by the federal, public and private sectors with organizations such as the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR), NASA and NOAA.

Prior to research administration, Zolicia enjoyed stints at GE Aircraft Engines in Ohio and at Johnson & Johnson in Pennsylvania, where she was a member of process excellence teams that facilitated higher productivity levels throughout both these organizations.

Since her joining SPAR she has become a NYS Notary Public and plans on pursuing her Masters of Business Administration degree at Baruch in the very near future. She is enjoying her newly acquired position and is looking forward to supporting the Baruch College faculty with all and any of their Post Award administration needs.
