<dc:description>These two Powerpoint files, worldmaps.ppt and worldmaps.ppt2, contain slides with maps for each continent of the world. They were designed for instructional purposes for display via a projector; the chosen color scheme is appropriate for this purpose, as projectors tend to wash out colors that are too light (such as pastels). There are two maps for each continent - one with countries labeled and one without. Since some continents are better suited to a vertical, portrait style presentation, and because Powerpoint does not allow you to mix portrait and landscape slides within the same presentation, maps of Africa and South America are stored in worldmaps2.ppt in portrait and the other continents / regions are stored in worldmaps.ppt in landscape. Both files are dynamically linked, so if you store them in the same folder you can seamlessly move from one file to another during the course of a presentation.</dc:description>
