Federal Perkins Loan Program

The Federal Perkins Loan Program is a low-interest (5 percent) loan for both undergraduate and graduate students with exceptional financial need. Your school is your lender. The loan is made with government funds with a share contributed by the school. You must repay this loan to your school. Requires a FAFSA every year.    

 

  • Perkins Entrance Interview - This link will take you to the ECSI Website* where you will go through an online entrance interview. There is a quiz at the end of this program. A score of 100% is required in order to establish your eligibility. In addition we require ALL reference information to be completed. Leave no information blank. Interviews with INCOMPLETE information will be considered as NOT meeting the loan counseling requirement.
  • Perkins Exit Interview - Students must go to the ECSI website to complete a Perkins Exit Interview. If you would like the Exit Interview mailed to you, or if you would like to set up an appointment to do the Exit Interview in person please call the following number 1(646)312-1381.
