2010-11 TAP Grant Award Funding

The Enacted 2010-11 New York State Budget includes changes to TAP

Award Changes

All TAP awards are reduced by $75 per year
Graduate students are not eligible for TAP awards.

Notification Schedule

HESC estimates that students will be able to view TAP award amounts on HESC site for additional TAP updates.

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

New academic standards have been established. The updated standards can be viewed here.

Note: If your eSims Bill currently displays a TAP estimate, please be aware that due to the 2010-11 TAP changes, you may see a change in your TAP award in the near future. Once the campus receives notification of actual 2010-11 TAP award amounts, your estimated TAP will be adjusted accordingly and the new TAP amount will appear as anticipated aid on your student account. Please continue to check your eSims bill regularly for any changes.
