Students are welcomed to talk to the Nurse Practitioner if they suspect their physical illness is stress related, but are highly encouraged to visit the Baruch Counseling Center, which offers individual and group counseling and psychotherapy to the Baruch community. The Center is staffed with experienced licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, and supervised pre-doctoral graduate students, who not only work toward reducing the interference of everyday stress on goals and treating more serious conditions, but who do so with a respect for multicultural issues. The Counseling Center is devoted to helping students succeed. The Counseling Center is one of several units within the Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management at Baruch College and is conveniently housed in the same building as the Health Center (for specific address see below). All services are confidential and free of charge.

A complete staff listing can be found here. Additionally, answers to frequently asked questions are available for information about counseling itself as well as the Counseling Center.
