The Baruch College Faculty Handbook
Clubs
Last updated on 7/23/2009
The Office of Student Life helps run more than 150 student clubs
for undergraduates and graduate students. Clubs and organizations
span a wide range of interests, with something for practically every
Baruch student, and students may start their own. Membership in
a club offers students a place to meet new people, as well as opportunities
to develop important communication, organizational, and leadership
skills. Students who participate in clubs and other extracurricular
activities usually do better academically.
Faculty interested in advising clubs are most welcome.
Most undergraduate clubs meet on Thursdays, 12:40-2:20 pm (club
hours). Clubs meeting at other days and/or times are so noted.
Graduate clubs meet at various times. Meeting rooms assigned are for Fridays 6-9pm.
Clubs meeting at other days and/or times are so noted.
