Athletic Recreation Complex (ARC)
Last updated on 8/25/09The purpose of ARC is to provide a broad and diversified program of activities and services for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community, in order to enhance the quality of life. The college has long recognized that recreational activities and formalized sports programs are an integral part of the process of educating the total individual.
Membership Fees
The faculty and staff (Baruch College employees) fee is $275 per year. Members are entitled to use the facilities listed below. Students are admitted free. Family memberships are no longer being offered.
Fitness Center (NVC, B1 level) 646-312-5053
The fitness room contains lifecycles, recumbent bikes, stair
climbers, treadmills, ellipticals, universal and hammer strength

Pool (NVC, B3 level) 646-312-5060
The pool is 25 meters, and has 6 lanes for open and lap swim. Check ARC Schedule here or call 646-312-5040.
Racquetball Courts (NVC, B3 level)

Main Gymnasium (NVC, B2 level)
The main gym includes three full basketball courts, seats 1,200
spectators, and is equipped for volleyball settings. Check ARC Schedule here or call

Auxiliary Gymnasium (NVC, B2 level)
It includes 1 full basketball court and is equipped for volleyball,
tennis, and badminton settings.
Saunas (NVC, B1 level)
Saunas are available within the main locker rooms.
Lockers (NVC, B1 level)
Lockers are rented on a semester basis. *Student fees are $40 for fall, $40 for spring, and $35 for summer. Member fees are $60 for fall, $60 for spring, and $45 for summer. Rentals may be made online. There is a link on the ARC Website. For further information, student/members can call

Guest Privileges
Members are permitted one guest per visit ($10 fee).
Members must accompany their guests.
