The Baruch College Faculty Handbook
Online Room Reservation System
Last updated on 6/3/09
The best and most efficient way to request a room is to follow this online system for reserving rooms -- and not by sending your request via e-mail or telephone. This system ties directly into the scheduler plus system used to make reservations and sends confirmations after the reservation is complete.
The system is fairly simple. Please call Cres Coutinho at X1442 anytime you need help.
- Go to the Baruch website: http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/
- 2. Go to “Faculty and Staff” located on the top blue border.
- Under Administrative Resources, select “Conference Services.” (This brings you to the Baruch College Conference Center homepage.)
- Select “Reservation Request” on the left menu. (This brings you to "Reservation Requests for the Newman Conference Center and the VC 14th Floor Conference Rooms.")
- Read instructions on this page. Note that contacts for all meeting rooms at Baruch are listed at the bottom of the page. Select "Make a Reservation Request (Faculty and Staff Only)."
- At "Reservation Request System," select "Client" on the left. Pull down the arrow and find your department/school. (Please call Cres at X1442 if you cannot locate your department.)
- Select "Contact," and click on your name. If you don’t find your name, fill out First Name, Last Name, Phone 1, and E-mail.
- Meeting Details: Complete Meeting Name and # Attending. If you are requesting a specific room, indicate it here in the Notes section. In this field, please also provide any details about your set up.
- Date and Time: Click "date" in calendar and the Times folder should populate. Indicate start and end times. Make sure that you have selected the appropriate AM and PM.
- Meeting Place: Leave this blank.
- Services: Leave this blank.
- Summary: Print a copy of this request.
- Submit the request.
- You will receive an email from SPii Request Wizard [cres_coutinho@baruch.cuny.edu]. It indicates “Reservation Status: Confirmed" NOTE: This is a confirmation that your request has been submitted. This is not a confirmation that your request has been granted!
