This is an interesting report that provides comparative data with similar institutions. What stands out is the lack of state support, the low level of funding that goes into instruction, and the vastly superior retention and graduation results.

IPEDS stands for Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System. It emanates from the National Postsecondary Education Cooperative (NPEC). Both IPEDS and NPEC are described in the link, which is to a PDF file of information from 2004 .
