November 9, 2009
Greetings to the Baruch Community,
Many may have already heard the news, but I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know formally that I will be leaving Baruch College.
I transferred to New York 17 years ago to become the Textbook manager for the Baruch College Bookstore but I am originally from the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The last few years I have I have been looking to relocate back to that area to be closer to my parents who are now in their golden years. An opportunity has now surfaced which has afforded me that chance. I have just recently accepted the position as the new Textbook Manager for the Northern Kentucky University Bookstore.
I apologize for the late notice but this all happened fairly suddenly. Please note that my last day here at Baruch will be this Wednesday, November 11. Rick Bowen, my assistant who has been with us for the last couple of years, was previously the Textbook Manager for the SUNY Old Westbury College Bookstore in Long Island, will be taking over my current responsibilities along with the Store Director, Kevin Boyce and the Assistant Manager, Beverly Murray. Please do not hesitate to contact Rick for any of your textbook needs and/or concerns.
I am grateful for the support I have received and the knowledge I have gained at Baruch and especially for the friendships I have made. I will miss Baruch and New York a great deal as I have many fond memories of my time here. I wish everyone the very best and ask that you please continue to support the Baruch College Bookstore, we all work very hard to fulfill your needs. Also, if you haven't already done so, please place your spring and January Intercession textbook orders as soon as possible, now is the time to help Baruch students save money on used textbooks.
