Activities in 2005-2006
Two significant developments in AY 2005-06:
- In March the committee (specifically the assessment subcommittee) led the college's participation in the Assessment Survey of the Center for Academic Integrity. More than 1,500 students (10%) and 140 faculty members (15%) completed the survey. More detailed results will be available in fall 2006, but a preliminary view suggests that Baruch's effort over the past three years to inform students and faculty about the procedures already in place has been successful.
- The committee created several subcommittees, each of which reported on developments at our last meeting of the year (April 24). The subcommittees will concentrate on the following issues/areas:
- assessment
- planning
- classroom environment
- plagiarism and other A.I.-related tutorials
