BACKGROUND OF MR. HOEJSGAARD:

Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard, 50, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Timex Group B.V., one of the world’s top watch companies. Mr. Hoejsgaard is also Chairman of the Board of the publicly-listed Timex Group India Ltd.

Based in Middlebury, Connecticut, Mr. Hoejsgaard oversees Timex Group operations in twenty countries and sales in more than sixty countries, while also leading over 5,000 employees across the globe in five divisions and managing numerous global watch brands – from mass to luxury – including Timex, Versace, Valentino, Salvatore Ferragamo, Guess, GC, Vincent Bérard, Versus, TX, Marc Ecko, Nautica and Opex.

Since joining Timex Group in February 2008, Mr. Hoejsgaard has been active in building the firm’s luxury offerings, raising the company’s international profile and seeking more potential licensors and acquisitions to solidify the Timex Group portfolio. Mr. Hoejsgaard reports directly to Anette Olsen, chairman of Timex Group.

Mr. Hoejsgaard is a global senior executive and brand equity specialist with extensive international management experience during his career, which spans more than 25 years in the consumer goods industry, including 20 years in the luxury goods market. A particular expertise in Asia was honed by being based 10 years in the region.

Mr. Hoejsgaard was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Georg Jensen Ltd., where he turned the century-old Danish silversmith and “national treasure” into a leading global luxury jewelry and watch company.

Prior to joining Georg Jensen, Mr. Hoejsgaard served as President of Lancaster Group Worldwide, the Paris-based prestige fragrance and cosmetics division of Coty, Inc., where he effected a strategic transformation of the Group from a predominantly Europe-oriented fragrance company to a global, full-service cosmetics company.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Hoejsgaard was Managing Director and Chief Executive for Guerlain Asia-Pacific, a division of LVMH (Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton), based in Hong Kong. He has also held senior sales, marketing and management positions in Rome, Hong Kong and Bangkok with Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, the world’s largest spirits company at the time.

Mr. Hoejsgaard studied political science at the University of Copenhagen, and holds a B.A. in Economics and Strategic Planning from the Southern Denmark Business School. He has also completed advanced management studies at Harvard Business School, INSEAD and Wharton. He is fluent in English, French and Danish.
