The Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management of the School of Public Affairs presents the seminar "Using Research and Evaluation to Improve Services and Operations."

Tony Hannigan, Executive Director, Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS), and Aaron Levitt, Director of Research and Evaluation, CUCS, discuss how CUCS uses research and evaluation to reduce chronic homelessness and assist low-income persons. CUCS was the 2007 winner of the New York Times Nonprofit Excellence Award for Excellence in Sustained Impact.

David Birdsell, Dean, School of Public Affairs, gives the opening remarks. James Krauskopf, Director of the Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management, introduces the speakers.

The event takes place on September 20, 2007 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center.
