Description:
A reading and conversation with Susan Choi, the author of two novels: The Foreign Student, which won the Asian-American Literary Award and the Steven Turner Award for first fiction in 1999; and American Woman, a New York Times Notable Book and a finalist for the New York Public Library’s Young Lions Fiction Award and for the 2004 Pulitzer Prize.

The event took place on October 24, 2006 at the Newman Conference Center, with an introduction by Roslyn Bernstein, director of the program. Paula Berggren, Professor of English at Baruch College, introduces the author and the topic.
