About the CUNY Portal (Accessing Blackboard, eSIMS and more)

NOTE - Beginning with the Spring 2005 semester, all access to Blackboard will be through the CUNY Portal. Access to Blackboard requires a CUNY Portal account.

In 2004, the City University of New York (CUNY) released the CUNY portal. The portal provides a single point of secure access to a variety of services including Blackboard. Access to Blackboard and other services requires a CUNY portal account. In the future the CUNY portal will be a gateway to an expanding collection of services, including eSIMS, ePermit, Library databases (remote access) and discounts at the CUNY eMall.

Baruch students and faculty should create a CUNY portal account as soon as possible to ensure that your account is active prior to the start of classes.
