ENV 1004 Fundamentals of Ecological Research
3.0 Hours; 3.0 Credits

Fundamentals of Ecological Research is a hands-on course designed to teach students the basic concepts and methodologies used in the field of ecology. The significance of ecological research to current environmental issues, both local and global, will be stressed throughout the course.

Baruch Common Core (for students who entered Baruch prior to Fall 2013): This course does not satisfy any requirements.

CUNY Pathways at Baruch (for students who entered Baruch Fall 2013 or later, or who “opt-in” to CUNY Pathways): This course satisfies the “Life and Physical Sciences” requirement of the Flexible Core.

Co-requisite: ENV 1003L unless transfer student has already satisfied requirement in Scientific World category.
