What is the application deadline for the College Experience?
Applications for the 2009 College Experience program must be received by May 22.  Students will be placed on a first come-first serve basis. We recommend that students do not wait until the deadline to apply!

Can I apply if I am taking the SAT in May or June?
Yes.  You should submit your application by May 22 and include a note indicating the date on which you will be taking the SAT. 

Can I apply if I am taking the Regents in May or June?
Yes.  You should submit your application by May 22 and include a note indicating the date on which you will be taking the Regents exam(s).

How much does the College Now summer program cost?
College Now is a free program for qualified New York City public high school students.

Can I attend only the college course?
No. All students must commit to attending the full day program.

What happens if I cannot attend the program every day?
Consistent attendance is mandatory. Students who cannot make a full commitment to the program should not apply.

Can I sign up for more than one course?
A student can enroll in one course only.

Will the credits that I earn at Baruch College transfer to a different college?
A College Now course is a part of your official CUNY transcript. If you attend Baruch College after high school, the grade you earn in your College Now course will be included in your Baruch College GPA.

IIf you attend a CUNY College other than Baruch College, only the credit will transfer. Credits can be transferred from Baruch College to private institutions and/or SUNY schools, at the discretion of the receiving college.

Will I receive a Baruch College I.D. card?
Yes. All College Now students who take a course at Baruch College are issued a Baruch College I.D. card.

What facilities will I have access to?
College Now students have access to all of the college's facilities, including the library, the gym and the computer labs.

Does College Now provide textbooks?
Yes.  College Now will lend the required textbooks and calculators to students for the duration of the program.

Does College Now provide lunch?
College Now students will receive a lunch voucher of $5.00 per day.

Does College Now provide transportation?
Students will receive a metrocard on the first day of class.

How many students attend the summer program?
Approximately 175 students from high schools across New York City will attend the 2009 College Now summer programs at Baruch College.

How many students will be in my class?
Each College Now summer course is limited to twenty-five students.
