Maziely "Mazi" Crisostomo, M.A.
Director of College Now & Collaborative Programs
Mazi graduated from William H. Maxwell CTE High School many moons ago. After high school her academic pursuits led her to SUNY Old Westbury, where after a semester abroad in London, she decided she wanted a new environment. As a result she transferred to Hunter College and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. After working a few years Mazi decided to return to school and enrolled in the CUNY School of Professional Studies where she received a graduate certificate in Youth Studies and a master’s degree in Disability Studies. Mazi has a wealth of experience in college access, higher education and the non-profit sector. Before her time at Baruch College she worked as a College Access Counselor, College Advisor and Outreach Worker for several non-profit organizations.
Clemente Diaz, M.A.
Clemente attended Norman Thomas High School (NTHS) in mid-town Manhattan where he majored in Office Technology and was heavily involved in the school’s Virtual Enterprise program. After graduating from NTHS, Clemente attended Baruch College where he received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, although he originally intended to major in Finance. He then went to Brooklyn College and obtained a master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology/Organizational Behavior. Prior to joining College Now, he was Assistant Director of Recruiting & Operations at Baruch College’s STARR Career Development Center where he worked with undergraduates and alumni in regards to their career and professional development. Apart from his diverse experience in higher education (career development, undergraduate admissions, research and student life) he is a semi-expert in all things New York Mets - the best team in NY!
Evelis graduated from Aquinas High School in the Bronx. She went on to study at Lehman College and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. Prior to working at College Now, Evelis’ professional work has always been with students. She has experience working with preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students in non-profit organizations. On Evelis’ downtime she enjoys watching her favorite movies: The Notebook, the Harry Potter films, and most Disney films.
