Academy of Finance
Established in 1982, the Academy of Finance introduces students to the broad career opportunities in the financial services industry and, in the process, equips them to make sound choices for the future. Students in the Academy of Finance have the opportunity to participate in specialized course work, tutoring, technological training and hands-on work experiences that is highlighted by summer internships in the most prestigious corporations in New York .
The Academy has been associated
with the Zicklin School of Business for the past twenty-one
years. As its capstone experience, the Academy offers
its qualified high school seniors the opportunity to
enroll in FIN 3000:
The Principles of Finance or BUS 1000: Introduction to Business at Baruch College. Each year, Baruch College hosts the
Academy's student conference, Toastmasters series, and graduation ceremony
for departing seniors.
