Exam Taking Tricks and Hints with SimNet XPert
Retaking Questions
You will be allowed two tries per question. If you answered a question
incorrectly the first time, you can click the PREVIOUS (left arrow)
button at the bottom of the question box to go back and try again.
If choose not to do that, time permitting, incorrectly answered
questions will be repeated at the end of the exam, giving you the
second chance to answer correctly.
Feedback After You Answered a Question
You will see CORRECT or INCORRECT after you respond to each question.
After you click OK, SimNet XPert will advance to the next question
automatically.
Exploring the Simulated Interface in SimNet Xpert
SimNet Xpert uses simulated application interfaces. You can open
menus and (in most cases) open dialog boxes (depending on the question
asked), before the program judges your action as correct or incorrect.
Wording of Questions
PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE WORDING OF QUESTIONS.
If a question specifies a method for answering the question, you
must
use the method specified. For example, if the question asks you
to "Click on the toolbar button to bold the selected text," then
pressing CTRL + B on the keyboard or using the file menu would
be judged as incorrect.
Moving the Question Box in SimNet XPert
If you find that the question box covers part of the screen where
you need to answer the question, click one of the four corners
of the compass graphic in the upper right corner of the question
box to move the question box to that corner of the screen. To minimize/hide
the question box, click on the center of the compass where it says
HIDE.
When the question box is minimized and you want to bring it up
again, click on the
SHOW button at the bottom right corner
of the screen.
