Mission
Campus Operations' mission is to support the City University of New York and the Baruch College educational experience by providing a safe, clean, accessible, sustainable, energy conscious educational environment conducive to quality learning, teaching and research. With innovation and dedication we aspire to meet the changing demands on our buildings, systems and technology integration. Our focus is on providing exceptional customer service in preserving, maintaining, repairing, improving, and renovating the campus buildings both interior and exterior for the entire Baruch community including all students, faculty, staff and visitors.
Services
Baruch College is comprised of five owned buildings, two rental properties and a public plaza in which Campus Operations is committed to provide an array of services and support through a team of highly skilled and dedicated employees. Responsibilities include day-to-day operation, maintenance, repair and alteration of the college’s physical plant and buildings, environmental health & safety and receiving. Campus Operations also serves as the college’s advocate at The City University of New York (CUNY) and The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) for capital projects for the college.
If you have a facilities related emergency, please call Building and Grounds at (646) 660-6630, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. After hours (evenings and weekends) please call Public Safety at (646) 660-6000. Examples of facilities emergencies include: flooding, power outage, leaks, elevator and escalator problems.
