Understanding Windows Concepts

Sessions:  4

The Windows Operating System is very robust and has many universal features that enhance the user experience. This prerequisite teaches the computer terminology that will be used in all classes: how to identify and learn how to use the various controls which are found in all programs; different ways to use and change pointers, sound schemes and other accessible tools. We will navigate the Windows environment including the desktop and the Start Menu; learn about the options in the Accessories menu; explore System Tools and more. This class will give the student a solid foundation for other computer classes.
