With
assistive technology, including large-print and screen reading (synthetic
speech) software, people who are visually impaired can become fluent
computer users. This seminar will provide beginning students with a
basic introduction to computers and assistive technology. Both
keyboard and mouse techniques are demonstrated. Keyboarding skills
are observed and, if necessary, students are invited to enroll in our
keyboarding class.
