From 1992 -2005, CCVIP offered intensive computer training classes of short duration during the school year to New York metropolitan area students who are legally blind. This program is no longer available, but students can be referred
by the New York State Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped
(CBVH) for assessment and classes during school breaks and the summer. For advanced students, assessment is not necessary to take Power Seminars.
Prerequisite:
Assessment seminar and referral by your CBVH counselor.
