STARR Search Account Updates

Due to recent email changes at Baruch, all STARR Search accounts still using Webmail addresses were updated.
Here is what you need to know:
- If you were using an email address other than a Baruch Webmail account, no changes were made to your account.
- If the email registered was a Baruch Webmail address, it has been updated to your new Baruchmail address in the following format: FirstName.LastName@baruchmail.cuny.edu. An email containing your new user name and password has been dispatched to your new email address.
Please note that alumni accounts were not updated and they will need to be updated by the individual users.
If you have forgotten your password please click on the "Forgot Password" tab located on the login page and follow the instructions to access your account.
STARR Search Account Information:
- All currently registered students (Spring 2008) have automatically received STARR Search accounts. The user name on the account is your Baruch email address in the following format: FirstName.LastName@baruchmail.cuny.edu.
- The email registered in the account is always your user name. If you change your email address, use the new one to log in.
- The password is automatically generated and included in your welcome email.
- The account is not tied to any Baruch email accounts/passwords. Any changes to your Baruchmail account will not reflect Starr Search and vice versa.
- New accounts are created at the beginning of every semester. The user name/email on the account is your official Baruch email.
- Users are advised to update the email address in their account to one that they check frequently. It can be any email address, not necessarily a Baruch account.
