All About Peers

Peers for Careers are highly trained undergraduate student leaders who serve as peer educators on topics such as:

• career exploration
• resume writing
• cover letters
• thank you notes
• interviewing
• job search

It is a two-tiered leadership program that prepares students for progressively more advanced leadership roles within the Starr Career Development Center (SCDC) and in their extracurricular and professional lives.

The Program's Mission

• To provide assistance to members of the Baruch Community (students, staff and alumni) on matters related to career exploration and planning
• To assist the staff of the Starr Career Development Center with office productivity and activities to enhance the services to the Baruch community
• To enhance the career and professional development of all participants in Peers for Careers Program
