Baruch Students Take Home American Humanics NextGen Awards
Five Baruch College students have been given the distinguished honor of being named American Humanics Next Generation Leaders as part of the NextGen Nonprofit Leaders program, a nationally recognized and highly competitive internship/scholarship program that offers a scholarship award of $4,500. Baruch College students have been consistently included in the program since it originated in the summer of 2007.
Selected students are given access to and support from a network of nonprofit leaders who help guide the students through the internship program and beyond. As chosen recipients, Baruch College students Harrison Adler, Doran Chan, Victoria Dedaj, Gabriel Lopez, and Sophia Zardiashvili (not shown) will also participate in a multi-year longitudinal research study designed to illustrate the positive effects of competitive internship stipends on the recruitment and retention of skilled entry-level professionals in the nonprofit sector.
