AMY HAGEDORN, CLASS OF 1958
"I
directed the grant to the School of Public Affairs because of the diversity of the students at Baruch and wanting to provide for them, a kind of encouragement to enter into community life. My impetus was to give scholarships to get kids involved in community life."

Baruch alumna Amy Hagedorn ('58) has provided an extraordinarily generous gift of $1 million to support scholarships and paid internships for undergraduate students in the School of Public Affairs (SPA), as well as support for faculty and general support for the College. This is a remarkable gift for SPA, and their largest in its 15-year history. Amy reconnected with the College after 50 years on the anniversary of her 50th reunion.
