Citizens Preparedness Training Event
In cooperation with the CUNY Chancellor’s Office and the Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, the Baruch College Public Safety Department is sponsoring a Citizen Emergency Preparedness Training for the College’s faculty, staff and students. The 2-hour training program at 1:30 pm, and subsequent Q&A session, will be conducted by military officials. It is designed to educate and prepare the participants to help their families in managing incidents that may include manmade and natural disasters.

Registered participants who complete the training will receive a free Emergency Preparedness Kit at the conclusion of the seminar. Among the items included in the kit are first aid supplies, shelter-in-place plastic sheeting, tape, a flashlight, goggles, and a water container.
