Representatives from the IBM Watson team, along with Baruch Faculty will discuss the competition and the potential of the IBM Watson system. You'll have an opportunity for Q & A about the system and the competition.

Welcome to the 14th Annual Symposium on Communication and Communication-Intensive Instruction presented by the Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute at the City University of New York's Baruch College.


FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC by Invitation Only

For the last 13 years, this unique day-long event has brought together leaders in business and education to explore how to best provide undergraduates and beginning professionals the tools they need to grow as effective, confident speakers and writers. Our program will feature round-table discussions, keynote presentations, and a hands-on workshop.

Featured speakers will include: Tariq Khan, Founder and CEO of Global Diversity Marketing; Danah Boyd, author and Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research; Erica Kaufman, Associate Director, Institute for Writing and Thinking, Bard College; and Bernard L. Schwartz, Chairman and CEO of BLS Investments, LLC.
