Event Description
On Monday, April 15 a panel discussion titled, "Global Cities/Global Universities: A Complicated Relationship," will be held, as part of the WC2 Conference with representatives from participating universities representing various parts of the world.

** The discussion is held in room 14-220, Newman Vertical Campus.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m.:
WSAS Dean Jeffrey Peck, Baruch College, CUNY Representative to WC2, will present opening remarks.
CUNY Chancellor Matthew Goldstein and Baruch President Mitchel Wallerstein will present welcoming remarks.

10:00 - 11:30 p.m. - Panel Discussion:
Moderated by Dean Peck; Panelists include: Constantine Arcoumanis, City University London; David Birdsell, Baruch College; Thomas Richter, Technische Universitat Berlin; Judy Tsui, Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Angelica Maria Careaga Mercadillo, Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana. Representatives from WC2 partner universities from around the world will speak about the challenges global universities face in their global cities.
