About the Program
Attend this free conference to learn about new technologies and tools to perform better analysis.
Technology continues to change the way we analyze companies and make investment decisions. Today, every public company listed in the U.S. reports their financial statement data in XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language). That means that corporate financial data, even the details embedded in footnotes, is more accessible, timely and accurate than ever before. But most analysts and investors have not yet begun to tap into the power of XBRL and many other emerging technologies.
This free industry event will explore and demonstrate the use of XBRL as well as other alternative analytical methods such as internet data mining, financial community blogs, RSS news feeds, and new quantitative analysis investment strategies. This conference is brought to you by NYSSA’s Improved Corporate Reporting Committee, the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity and XBRL US, the non-profit consortium for XBRL reporting.
The program will feature regulators, technology leaders and research industry insiders who will discuss and demonstrate the use of XBRL and other emerging research technologies in the investment research and analysis process. The program will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, presentations and live demonstrations.
