Event Description
The spelling bee is a fundraising event that challenges students to spell common and uncommon words in an effort to win a prize. Participants will pay to enter ($2) and will receive a ticket. Tickets will be drawn at random (kind of like the Price is Right) to see who will actually be playing. Theta Phi Gamma judges will read words and give their definition and origin. Fifty percent of the earnings will be awarded to the best speller. The other fifty percent will go to JDRF.
