Event Description Join us on Thursday, November 17th for the 10th Annual Russell Banks CEO Leadership Lecture Series featuring Richard Grasso.
The conversation with Richard Grasso, former Chairman and CEO of the NYSE will be moderated by John Elliott, Dean of the Zicklin School of Business.
The event begins with a breakfast reception at 8:30AM and the lecture will start at 9:30AM.
About Richard A. Grasso He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The New York Stock Exchange from 1995 to 2003. Grasso had been with the New York Stock Exchange in various positions since 1968. Grasso had previously served as Chairman of the Economic Club of New York and Vice Chairman of the National Italian American Foundation. He also served as Member of the Board of The Centurion Foundation, Lower Manhattan Development Corp., New York City Police Foundation, New York City Public Private Initiatives Inc., New York University; Member of the Advisory Board of the Yale School of Management, Trustee of the Stony Brook Foundation; Member of the International Capital Markets Advisory Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Grasso served as a Director of Home Depot Inc. (2002-2004), New York Stock Exchange, Inc., and the Business Council of New York State Inc.
About the Russell Banks CEO Leadership Lecture Series In 1996, the Banks Family Foundation, Inc. created the Russell Banks CEO Leadership Lecture Series at Baruch College. Distinguished speakers share their knowledge and expertise with Baruch’s students, faculty, and alumni under the sponsorship of Baruch’s Office of College Advancement. Russell Banks ('40) is an alumnus of Baruch College and former adjunct professor of management at Baruch.
