Baruch Performing Arts Center and the Baruch Jewish Studies Center is proud to present a poetry reading and conversation with the experimental Jewish American Poet Charles Bernstein. A reception will begin at 5:30pm, followed by the reading.
Charles Bernstein is the author of over 40 books, including large-scale collections of poetry, essays, and pamphlets, most recently All the Whiskey in Heaven: Selected Poems ( 2010) from Farrar, Straus and Giroux, and Attack of the Difficult Poems: Essays and Inventions (University of Chicago Press, 2011). His forthcoming book Recalculating in April 2013 is from University of Chicago Press. Recent full-length works of poetry includeGirly Man (University of Chicago Press, 2006), With Strings (University of Chicago Press, 2001), and Republics of Reality: 1975-1995 (Sun & Moon Press, 2000). Bernstein is the Donald T. Regan Professor of English and Comparative Literature, University of Pennsylvania.
