e-Training

We are pleased to announce a pilot program of on-line training for information technology skills. These non-credit courses are available anytime from the web.   There are a few minimum hardware and software requirements as are stated below.

There are a wide variety of courses; we currently have a limited number of licenses for Office Productivity available at no cost to the user.   The complete course list for this topic can be found at: http://www.enterprisetraining.com/skillsource/courses.html

e-Training is a great tool for people who are visual learners, for those who sometimes just need to look up how to do something quickly (for example: pivot tables in Excel), and for those who lack the time to take a more traditional-style course.    Some courses are self-study and some are led by instructors.

To find out more about e-Training, contact the Computing and Technology Help Desk.

Hardware and Software Requirements

The courses are available from computers with a minimum of a 90 MHz Pentium processor, Windows 95, 98, NT or 2000.   Macromedia’s Shockwave should also be installed on your PC.
