| Accessing the CUNY Portal | |

When you first arrive at http://www.cuny.edu, you'll notice a button called "log-in" at the bottom of the left navigation area. Locate the button, click on it, and it will bring you to the Portal Login page. |

Once you are registered with CUNY Portal, this is the place where you'll enter your username and password. Since this is your first time, click on "Register Now!" |

The next screen asks about your affiliation with Baruch. If you're a student, you should click on the "student" link. |

On the next screen, you'll need to enter your last name, social security number and birthdate. Once the form is complete, click on "next" to advance. |

The next screen asks you to confirm the data. If it's correct, press confirm. |

Now you'll need to create a username, password and enter an active email address. If you forget your password, this is the email address used to send you a new one. It's probably a good idea to write down your username and password before leaving this page. Before moving on, confirm that your address is correct and then press save. |

Now that you've created a username and password, you can access the CUNY Portal. Simply enter your username and passowrd and choose "Log In" |

This brings you to the main CUNY Portal page, called MY Page. To enter Blackboard, choose the blackboard link. |

Once you've clicked on Blackboard, you'll be asked to select your college and your affiliation. As a student registered at Baruch, you can click on the student link just to the right of Baruch College. |

You're now in Blackboard and can log-in to courses as usual. If you're a student at another CUNY institution and need to access their Blackboard courses, simply go back to the CUNY Portal page and choose Blackboard again. |
