Using the PC
First, make sure the ceiling projector is on, See "Turning on the Ceiling Projector" for detailed instructions.Note: Please Do not write on the base of the document Camera.
This will cause irreparable damage. The PC can play audio CDs, CD-Roms and DVDs. 2) Press the button marked "PC" on the control panel. 3) Turn on the computer (located at the bottom right of the lectern) by pressing the power button. A green light indicates that the power is on. 4) Turn on the computer monitor using the power button located at the bottom far right of the monitor. A green light indicates that the monitor is on.
Each faculty member must login to classroom PCs with their own personal domain login. Your login is the same login you would use in your office. This login account is provided to all full and part-time faculty by the technology coordinators in each of the schools.Please call the Help Desk (646-312-1010) if you require assistance. 5) You can use a CD, DVD, Zip or floppy disk. 6) If you need sound: In classrooms with 50 or fewer seats, turn on the speaker using the "Spk" button. In 80 or 120-seat classrooms,
See "Audio Control in 80 and 120 seat classrooms" for instructions 7) If necessary, adjust volume using the volume knob on the control panel. Turn clockwise to turn volume up.
Note: You may have to turn the knob several times.
Please eject your disk, shut down the computer, turn off the projector and the
speaker when your presentation is finished.
