HOW DO I "POWER UP" THE SYSTEM?
1 - Step in or wave hand in front of the Extron Touch Panel.
(Please note: Any screen displayed other than the one shown below, the system is already powered on)

2 - Press the large on screen button "Press here to begin"

3- Wait for the system/projector to warm up.

4- Now select the input you would like to display from the side button panel.

HOW DO I "POWER DOWN" THE SYSTEM?
1- From any screen, press the "DISPLAY OFF" button on the side panel.

2- Press the green "POWER DOWN" button on screen when asked if you want to shut down.

3- Wait for the System to Shut Down.

4- The system will display the start screen once the system has completed its shutdown cycle. Projector Display/image should now be off (Projector goes into STAND BY Mode).

HOW DO I USE THE MICROPHONE WITHOUT POWERING ON THE PROJECTOR/SYSTEM?
1- Make sure the system is Powered OFF. The screen shot below is the Powered OFF State.

2- If the system is still powered on, press the "DISPLAY OFF" button on the side panel shown below. Press "Yes" when asked Are You Sure? Wait for the system to power down to the main screen.

2- From the main screen, Press the "Mute Controls" Button.

3- Press the" Main Audio" to Unmute the audio, button should be green.

4- Press the Microphone button that you would like to use, Podium or Wireless. The Button will turn green and be "unmuted." Audio should now be heard on the overhead speakers.

HOW DO I ENABLE THE PODIUM OR WIRELESS MICROPHONE?
1- From any screen, press the MUTE button.

2- If both microphones are muted, the screen below will be displayed, press the mic you wish to use.

3- To UNMUTE the Podium Microphone, press the "Podium Mic Muted" onscreen button.

4- The onscreen button will turn green and display "Podium Mic Unmuted" The audio from the podium mic should now be heard in the overhead speakers.

5- To UNMUTE the Wireless microphone, press the "Wireless Handhel Muted" onscreen button.

6- The onscreen button will turn green and display "Wireless Handheld Unmute" The audio from the podium mic should now be heard in the overhead speakers.

ADJUSTING MICROPHONE AUDIO LEVEL
1 - Locate Extron MLS 1608 control unit within the rack (lower left front of the lectern).

2- Turn the "Mic Volume" knob to adjust audio output to the desired level.
CAUTION: High audio levels will cause feedback issues.

1-After POWERING UP the system, you will be prompted to "Select a Source"

2-Check to make sure the PC is turned on, hit the space bar on the keyboard to "wake up" the PC. The screen below should then be displayed.

3-Press the "PC" Button on the Touch Panel.

4-The Touch Panel screen will switch to the PC Selected page.

5-The image from the projector should now display the PC image (check lectern monitor for image).

NOTE:
6-If the PC is not displayed on the lectern monitor or projection screen, the PC will need to be powered on. Check the lower right opening of the lectern and locate the PC
7-Once located, the PC Power button is on the upper left corner of the PC, press it
8-Check to make sure the lectern monitor is powered on, should have a green power light in the lower right corner (amber means the monitor is in power save mode). If light is not green (or amber), press that button, the monitor will power on.

1-After POWERING UP the system, you will be prompted to "Select a Source"

2.Press the "DVD" button

3. The screen will be replaced with the DVD controls.

4. The projection screen should now display the DVD player controls or the DVD menu from the inserted disc

HOW DO I DISPLAY THE DOCUMENT CAMERA?
1-After POWERING UP the system, you will be prompted to "Select a Source"

2. Pull out the side drawer on the right side of the lectern.
3. Pull up the Document Camera light and camera unit.
4. Power on the Document Camera.
5. Press the "DOC CAM" button on the touch panel to select the Document Camera.

6. The Document Camera should now be displayed on the projection screen.

HOW DO I CONNECT & DISPLAY MY LAPTOP?
1-After POWERING UP the system, you will be prompted to "Select a Source"

2. Press the "LAPTOP" button to select the laptop source.

3. The laptop should now be displayed onscreen.

4. Check the projection screen for the laptop display.

4. If Laptop is not displaying onscreen, check your display settings to "Mirror" the image.

- Go to System Preferences, select the "Display" control panel.
- Select "Mirror Display"

HOW DO I "VIDEO MUTE" THE PROJECTOR DISPLAY WITHOUT POWERING DOWN THE WHOLE SYSTEM?
1-From any screen, press the "MUTE" button on the side panel.

2-Press the "Projector Video Unmuted" Button. The button will turn RED and display "Projector Video Muted." The projector will now be blacked out/muted.

3-To Turn the Projector Display Back On, Press "Projector Video Muted" The button will switch from RED back to GREEN.
