Blackboard 8 is experiencing intermittent problems

Blackboard 8 continues to experience problems. The system is presently unavailable due to an unanticipated outage and is being restored to service as quickly as possible. The CIS team is working directly with technical support representatives from Blackboard, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, VMWare and Cisco to resolve the application stability problems.
Service will be maintained at the highest level possible while this diagnostic work proceeds, however there may continue to be unanticipated performance issues until the system is stabilized.

Restoration of the Blackboard 8 operating environment to a stable state is our highest priority.
