What is Live @ Baruch?

The City University of New York (CUNY) has chosen Microsoft’s Windows Live as its new e-mail system for all CUNY students. Once implemented, Windows Live will replace current e-mail accounts such as Baruch's WebMail, becoming students’ official university-business account system. This student e-mail system is based on Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail, the most-used Webmail service in the world, although it is customized and co-branded by each CUNY College.  Live @ Baruch provides current students and alumni with a set of communications and collaboration services, such as e-mail, shared calendar, and address book.

Why use Live @ Baruch?

  • Keep your account even after your graduate.
Your e-mail account will not be deleted after you graduate – only its look and feel will change as alumni.  However, to ensure that your messages and files are kept intact, you must login to your account at least once every 365 days, otherwise your content will be cleared, while your e-mail account remains.
  • We’re not done yet!
