Baruch College Campus High School (BCCHS) is a screened program.
This means that the school selects all of their applicants based
on criteria set by the school itself. BCCHS does not require a test
in order to be admitted.
Criteria to be considered for admissions to BCCHS are:
85% 7th grade average
Fewer than 10 absences or latenesses in 7th grade
Priority is given to students who attend a District 2
middle school, or reside in the District 2 geographical
area.
BCCHS is committed to admitting a wide-range of
students; therefore, we take students who meet
the above requirements, but we also admit
students with a range of test scores from the
8th grade ELA test.
There are approximately 100 seats offered each
year for our incoming class. Open Houses are
offered for interested applicants from September
through December. Attending an open house does
not affect your chances of admission. During the open house,
you have the opportunity to visit classrooms,
talk to students about their impressions of the
school, and meet with the principal, assistant
principal, or parent coordinator to answer your
questions.
All BCCHS tours / open houses are booked
Due to the small space of our school,
we are unable to accommodate anymore tours. **PLEASE BEAR
IN MIND THAT ATTENDANCE AT A TOUR IS NOT A CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS TO BCCHS.
We will gladly consider your child's application, regardless of tour attendance.
If you have any further questions about the high school admissions
process or our school, please talk to your middle school guidance counselor.
We understand your desire to see the school to make the right choice for your child, and hope you keep us in mind.
