Baruch College Presents 10th Annual Audit Conference, "Ensuring Integrity."
NEW YORK, NY - November 22, 2015 - The Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity is hosting this all-day conference on Thursday, December 3 at Baruch College, 55 Lexington Avenue at 24th Street, on the 14th floor of the William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus.
The conference provides a forum for interaction between business, public accounting, academics, and policy setters from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). It also examines the current best practices of ethics and independence within the auditing profession. The conference is organized in partnership with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy's Center for the Public Trust (CPT).
Welcoming remarks from Douglas Carmichael, Professor of Accountancy, Zicklin School of Business and Alfonzo Alexander, President, NASBA Center for the Public Trust, will begin at 8:45 a.m. An afternoon keynote address at 1:00 p.m. will be delivered by Floyd Norris, Retired Chief Financial Correspondent, New York Times.
