Pre-School of Public Affairs (SPA) Requirements

The criteria for admission into the Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs is as follows:

  • at least 45 credits completed

  • at least a 2.25 gpa

  • either PAF 1250 (PUB 1250) or POL 1101 completed

Once these requirements have been met, students should fill out the online Eligibility Review for Your Major form or email: Jennifer.Harrington@baruch.cuny.edu. Once they have been approved for the major, they may declare their major officially and begin taking major courses.
