I want to do an Independent Study Course.
This course enables students to pursue an interdisciplinary project
independently in an area that is not available in the course offerings.
The subject should be chosen in consultation with a faculty advisor
who will act as the student's supervisor. A description of the
project and its specific goals should be clearly articulated in
the written prospectus. Download the form from the Forms section

How can I take honor
courses?
A large number of Honors courses are offered in the College's curriculum.
Refer to the Schedule of Classes for a list of Honors courses currently
available.
These courses provide special enrichment for highly motivated and well-prepared
students. Such courses have the designation "H" in the Schedule of Classes
and students' transcripts will indicate that these were Honors courses.
Honors courses are open to Baruch Scholars, Presidential Scholars,
Provost's Scholars, to students officially enrolled in the Undergraduate
Honors Program, and students with a minimum overall GPA of 3.3.
Other students require the approval of the Program Director, Prof.
Susan Locke (646) 312-3813. Students with questions about the Feit
Seminar courses (IDC 4050) should contact Professor Paula Berggren
in the English Department (646) 312-3931.For more information,
please see the Honors Program Web Page at: http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/honors/.
