The Wall Street Baruch Summer Leadership Academy program brings talented students from Beijing together in New York City for intellectually stimulating and culturally enriching academic and career exploration.
Program Dates: JULY 20th - AUGUST 3rd, 2014
Program Cost: $6,000 USD
1. Complete and submit supplemental forms:
A. Applicants must provide sufficient financial documentation to cover all program costs ($6,000 USD) for the J-1 Visa application.
B. Applicants must submit proof of health insurance. Health insurance is a mandatory component of the J-1 Visa. The following are health insurance plans that can be purchased for the three week period that students will be attending the Academy:

2. Submit a $250.00 USD deposit fee in the form of a check payable to Baruch College. Please note that the deposit fee is refunded to students who do not gain admission to the competitive Academy.

The Wall Street Baruch Summer Leadership Academy’s coursework gives students the edge that they need to gain admission into top American universities. On Monday through Friday, students will attend classes at the Baruch College campus from 9AM to 4PM. Coursework prepares Chinese high school students for admission to American universities and successful careers in global finance, economics, entrepreneurship, investment banking, and stock trading.
Throughout the week students will meet with business insiders, receive business etiquette training, and visit major financial headquarters such as the New York Stock Exchange, Wall Street, and some of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions. (BOLD)Baruch College has sent students to the following employers: Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, Deliotte LLP, and Bloomberg LP.
During evenings and weekends, Academy students will explore the culture and customs of the United States, specifically that of New York City. Students will visit cultural hubs, financial landmarks, and historical monuments in addition to top globally ranked colleges such as Columbia University and New York University.
