Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students from around the world are eligible to apply to the Baruch Leadership Academy.
Competitive admissions are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis. Students will receive an admissions decision via postal mail within four weeks after their application file is complete.
Attending the Academy will help a student’s application stand out as it is an intensive extracurricular activity. Students who complete the Academy receive a letter of recommendation, which can be submitted when applying to Baruch College or any other institution.
Applications are reviewed once all application components have been received. It is recommended that students send in all of their application components at once. Students are encouraged to complete the online application and essay prior to mailing in the supplemental materials.
Need-based scholarships are granted based upon demonstrated financial need. In order to be considered for a scholarship, students must submit our scholarship application. Scholarship applications will be made available in January.
The Academy takes place at Baruch College's midtown Manhattan campus. The College's Vertical Campus, located on 24th Street and Lexington Avenue is the headquarters for our Academy classrooms.
All course materials and books are provided to students at the Academy.
Lunch is provided on Thursday & Friday. Students have free time to eat lunch at one of our neighboring establishments or at our campus dining hall on Monday - Wednesday.
